On the morning of December 14 at 10 am, the 2024 XDS Cycling Fan Festival opened grandly at the XDS headquarters in Shenzhen, gathering over 3,000 cycling enthusiasts and industry professionals to celebrate this annual event.

The event was hosted by XDS with the aim of promoting cycling culture, enhancing industry exchanges and cooperation, while showcasing the style of the XDS Astana Tour de France team, leading Chinese cycling to a new stage.

Attending the event were leaders and guests including Wu Zhiwei, member of the Standing Committee of the Guangming District Committee of Shenzhen and Director of the Publicity Department, Feng Dechong, member of the Party Group of the Shenzhen Federation of Industry and Commerce and Vice Chairman of the Shenzhen Federation of Industry and Commerce, Liu Linhai, Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Xinhu Subdistrict of Guangming District, Tan Weilong, Chairman of XDS Group, Li Chuqiao, Vice Chairman of XDS Group, Tan Yancang, General Manager of XDS Group, Liao Xuejin, Chairman of Shenzhen HL Health Industry Development Co., Ltd., Xing Hongmei, General Manager of JD Outdoor, Yang Yan, Head of Tmall Riding, Wu Ruizhang, General Manager of Suzhou KMC Co., Ltd. Shenzhen Branch, Huang Xiancheng, Minister of Shimano (Shanghai) Trading Co., Ltd., Sun Baogang, General Manager of Shaanxi Bai Zhongda Trading Co., Ltd., and ALEXANDR VINOKUROV (Alexander Vinokourov), General Manager of XDS Astana Team.

Tan Weilong, Chairman of XDS Group, warmly welcomed all guests and participants, expressing his gratitude. He stated that XDS has always been committed to promoting the development of cycling and dedicated to the research and innovation of bicycle technology, providing high-quality products and services to global cycling enthusiasts.

Xing Hongmei, General Manager of JD Outdoor, delivered a speech on behalf of XDS' cooperation, stating that XDS and JD Outdoor have collaborated closely in online and offline events, joint customized products, and the "online ordering, offline pickup" service model, providing better service experiences for cyclists and contributing to the development of cycling!

ALEXANDR VINOKUROV, General Manager of XDS Astana Team, also addressed the audience, sharing the team's glorious history and future plans, expressing his commitment to continue striving for more honors for the team and XDS.

Subsequently, Tan Yancang, General Manager of XDS Group, introduced the X-LAB Tour de France racing bike to be used by the XDS Astana Team in the 2025 season. This racing bike not only incorporates the latest technology and design concepts but also features personalized designs and custom paintwork for each rider, demonstrating XDS' leading position in bicycle technology.

The handover ceremony of the 2025 season X-LAB Tour de France racing bike brought the opening ceremony to a climax! The XDS Astana Team made an impressive appearance, being the first Tour de France team on the Chinese mainland! In 2025, the XDS Astana Team will represent China in the Tour de France, marking a historic breakthrough for Chinese bicycle brands entering the world stage. Tan Yancang, General Manager of XDS Group, handed over the racing bike to the team, wishing them outstanding achievements in the 2025 Tour de France, Giro d'Italia, Vuelta a España, and other international races!

Chinese cyclists also took the stage, including members of the Shenzhen XDS Continental Team, Chinese National Mountain Bike Team, and Asian Games champion Li Hongfeng.

Since its establishment in 1995, XDS has been dedicated to promoting the development of cycling, hosting and sponsoring major events and riding activities every year. In 2016, it established the "Shenzhen XDS Continental Team," signed a sponsorship agreement with the Chinese Cycling Association in 2020, supporting the Chinese National Mountain Bike Team, helping the national team compete in the 2021 Tokyo Olympics and the 2024 Paris Olympics, and contributing to the Asian Games victories of Chinese athletes Mi Jiujiang and Li Hongfeng!

In 2025, the XDS Astana Team will represent China in the Tour de France, a historic breakthrough for Chinese bicycle brands entering the world stage. The establishment of the XDS Astana Team has not only enhanced the influence of Chinese bicycle brands on the international stage but also provided Chinese cyclists with opportunities to exchange and compete with top international riders.

In the future, the XDS Astana Team will select personnel from Chinese cyclists to join the Tour de France team. The XDS Astana Team is committed to improving the competitive level of Chinese cyclists, promoting the comprehensive development of Chinese sports, and contributing to the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

At 10:30 am, the leadership guests sounded the whistle, officially starting the group ride! 

Led by the XDS Astana Team, XDS fans rode through Shenzhen in XDS Astana Team cycling jerseys, enjoying the beautiful scenery of Shenzhen and experiencing the passion of cycling!

At 2 pm, a warm meeting with the XDS Astana Team was held. The Tour de France riders interacted intimately with the fans, answering questions, participating in smart cycling interactive competitions, signing autographs, taking photos, and the venue was filled with cheers and a lively atmosphere!

The XDS headquarters also set up various fun activities and challenge projects, such as the Good Man Slope Challenge, Log Bridge Challenge, 4X Dirt Slope Chase Race, and Parent-Child Bicycle Relay Race, attracting the active participation of many participants and spectators. At the same time, the XDS high-end bicycle exhibition and test ride area also became one of the highlights of the event, allowing visitors to appreciate XDS' latest products and technologies up close.
