Overview of Crankset Spindle Types

BB30 Spindle Type

PressFit Spindle Type
This new design, PressFit, incorporates the most recent technical innovation: threadless bearing seat. The PressFit spindle has no threads and is installed directly into the bearing seat of the frame.
